In 1997, Jean-Michel Mazal was the first technician hired internally to define FERRIER's cultivation practices and quality standards, in order to implement them among partner producers.

In 2010, we move from technical knowledge to practice with the creation of AGRIFER.

AGRIFER farms are located close to our warehouse. They are situated in the south of France, in Provence and the Camargue.

Our partner growers

Maison FERRIER works closely and on a long-term basis with its partner producers.

The farms are monitored and inspected by FERRIER’s quality team, which provides rigorous assistance and advice and coordinates supply and demand by drawing up production schedules and specifications.

In practical terms, this support and assistance includes, for example:

  • Carrying out soil analyses and helping to draw up fertilisation plans to maintain soil quality and protect the environment.
  • Raising awareness and providing support for soil preparation adapted to the needs of the land (subsoiling, ploughing, etc.)
  • Developing a plan to reduce pesticide use and manage water.
  • Proactive control of diseases and pests: selecting resistant varieties and choosing preventive cultivation techniques.

Among the products grown by partner producers are grapes and salad.
